The Leadership Team at VIE Academy are prominent educationalists with a vast range of experience in IB implementation, curriculum design and development, digital pedagogy, teacher development and school improvement.
This experience has been gained through leading organisations including the IB, school groups including GEMS Education and Aldar Academies, and schools globally. We have a vast network of university and industry professionals and partnerships, which we leverage to create an extensive range of courses with strong links to business and industry, for high-school students.

Jon Halligan
Managing Director
Jon is an inspirational educationist, with a broad and varied school leadership background in international education accumulated over the last 30 years. Prior to VIE Education, Jon was the Global head of Development & Recognition for the International Baccalaureate, where he worked with multiple governments, ministries and leading school groups, guiding and facilitating major IB implementation projects.

Tracy Moxley
Director of Education and Innovation
Tracy is a highly regarded educational leader with over 30 years’ experience in international education. She has led both private and charter school across four major educational groups, including GEMS Education and Aldar Academies – where she implemented multiple IB programmes and cutting-edge student and teachers’ initiatives. Tracy is a published IB author and a recognised curriculum development specialist.

Kathryn Longstaff
Director of VIE Academy
Kathryn is a dynamic school-leader who has worked across multiple UK, IB and international curricula specializing in innovative curriculum modelling and school transformation across the last 16 years. Prior to joining VIE Academy Kathryn was Vice Principal at a large and highly successful 3-18 GEMS school in Dubai, with experience across state, public and UK boarding schools.

Jean-Marc Levrat
Curriculum Manager: Business and Hospitality
Jean-Marc draws from 25 years of international experience in academia and the hospitality industry. Originally from Switzerland, he graduated from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and worked on three continents, including in Canada, where he was director of Operations for 27 Quick Service Restaurants that collectively employed over 1,000 people. He has been teaching at various schools and universities, including top ten QS related hospitality schools.

Peter is a business and hospitality professional with more than two decades of expertise in developing, educating and leading teams in some of the world’s leading 5* hotel groups, before transitioning to the world of academic education; His business and hospitality background and passion for innovation within education drives his enthusiasm to recognise the individual needs of all students.
